As I was leaving to fly to Las Vegas for World Tea Expo last week I found myself at Sea-Tac Airport in pursuit of a decent cup of tea. Much to my surprise, at the Dilettante Mocha Café I was able to procure a cup of what I am almost positive was Harney and Sons’ Formosa Oolong (identified only as “Oolong” on the menu board). Thank you, and likewise. I was really glad that I made it there this year. It was an excellent experience all around, and it was great to meet so many tea people in person.

It was great meeting at the World Tea Expo. I really enjoyed observing the Sencha do ceremony at the Rishi Tea booth with you. I have read and written about the Sencha ceremony.

Yes, it was good to talk to you for a few minutes beforehand. I had been particularly interested in the opportunity to observe the sencha-do ceremony, so I’m glad that I was able to be there. I’ll be sure to read your article.

Living just a few miles from Vegas I’ve never heard of the tea convention. Thats one that would have been so remarkable to see and apparently isn’ twell publicized? Thank you for including so much excellent information on your site.
